Tracking Technology Privacy Policy

Advertisers who establish a commercial relationship with Clickzoot may insert into their web pages an electronic file called a Web Beacon, which allows a web site to record Users who have visited that page or to access certain Tracking tools.

The ClickZoot Performance Agency uses cookie-less advanced tracking tools and Web Beacons to track referrals of Users on behalf of registered partners ("Affiliates") from their web sites to the web sites of ClickZoot's commercial partners ("Advertisers") and also for auditing purposes. This information is used to reward the Affiliate for the referral, typically when a sale transaction is made or a lead form has been filled in.

Tracking methodology: The tracking works by Affiliates passing Users to Advertisers via a ClickZoot where a ClickZoot tracking tool is placed on the User's computer. This is the ClickZoot vendor's proprietary session regeneration tracking method that allows conversions to be matched to clicks without using cookies. The User is instantly forwarded to the destination URL specified by the Affiliate. Should a ClickZoot Web Beacon be present on a page the User visits, ClickZoot records information from the Web Beacon and accesses the tracking tool it laid previously to record the unique tracking ID.

Collection of Personally Information ("PI"):
ClickZoot does not store any PI either in the tracking tool or in databases about the User. The cookie stores only a unique tracking ID that links to data stored in ClickZoot databases. Data that is recorded in the databases includes non-PI information such as the page of referral, time of referral, Affiliate ID and destination URL. ClickZoot also records the User's IP address whenever the User's browser communicates with the ClickZoot server, for auditing purposes. Additional information may also be disseminated for the purposes of remuneration and auditing: Sale value, sale time, sales quantity, order ID and item code(s).

ClickZoot does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

ClickZoot keeps track of the pages that users visit within the ClickZoot website, for such reasons as determining what ClickZoot offerings are the most popular.
